Colby Mckee

The Houston Astros beat the Chicago White Sox 10-1 in Game 4 of the ALDS to advance to the ALCS. In Game 1, the Astros got to White Sox Lance Lynn, knocking his out in the 4th inning on route to a 6-1 victory. Game 2 was a back-and-forth game with 4 lead changes until the Astros broke a 4-4 tie with a 5 run 7th inning to win 9-4. Game 3 started off with an offensive explosion with both teams combining for 15 runs in the first 4 inning. A grand slam and a three-run 8th inning would help the White sox security Game 3 12-6. Game 4 started with the White Sox jumping out to an early lead as this was the only thing to happen to them as they lose 10-1.

The White Sox were let down by their pitching staff as their ERA was 7.94 in four games. Outside of their Game 3 performance, the offensive was a major problem as well they put up only six runs in those three games.

The Astros always seems to be control of the series and look like the better team. They will go up against the Boston Red Sox who defeated the Rays in the ALDS.
